The ‘No Crib for a Bed’ initiative invites corporate Calgary to support the tiniest and most vulnerable of the community. After a company accepts or purchases a crib employees are invited to show their holiday spirit and donate essential baby items to support NeighbourLink Calgary’s Infant Care Under Two (ICU2) program. This program provides diapers, formula, cereal, food, hygiene items and many other items such as cribs, car seats and strollers to families in need.
It is no secret that the start you receive in life affects you exponentially as an adult. Rotary has donated 100 Cribs to this program and along with NeighbourLink invite you to make a difference in a baby’s life by placing a crib in your workplace to support the ICU2 program. Together we can make a difference!
Our goal of neighbours helping neighbours depends on people like you who help us with both financial and item donations. Please visit our Donor Page to see how you can help, and see our Supporters List for a look at the Calgary foundations, churches, and companies who have assisted in our efforts to help those in need.
Without volunteers, we could not meet the demand of our successful programs. Find out how you can get involved, or even put together your own company team of volunteers. Learn more on our Volunteer Page or call now to get started on volunteering as a helpful neighbour.
We’d like to tell you more about the great work we’ve been doing, with the help of our donors and volunteers. Learn more About NeighbourLink or visit the News section for more information, have a look at our most recent newsletter, or keep up to date with our blog.
